CASTING DETAILS

Registration is open for all international and local female ladies, and no modelling experiences are required.

New York Fashion Week Grand Gala 2023 will present the world`s luxurious evening gowns fashion collections featuring top international and local fashion designers from New York and South East Asia.

HOW TO APPLY AS A MODEL: Simply fill in and submit the form below.

WINNING PRIZES: 

• All models participating in the event will receive an award/certificate of participation from Couture Fashion Week New York, one of the most prestigious and luxurious fashion shows in the world.
• The Best Winning Model at the event on the 25 Feb 2023 will be chosen and given an exclusive opportunity to participate in any upcoming Couture Fashion Week Fashion Show in New York or Cannes, France. She will also receive an Award for Best Catwalk Model from Couture Fashion Week New York.

REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE:

• Female models, with or without any modelling experience
• Height: 5’8 and taller in bare feet
• Dress size: All sizes from size 2 to size 8
• Ages 16-35
• Must be healthy, and in good physical shape
• Clear unblemished skin (face and body)
• Straight white teeth
• No tan lines or obvious scars
• No excessive piercings or tattoos
• You will be asked to walk
• We will ask to see your legs, arms and upper back (to see if you can model open-back gowns)
• You will be asked to send 3 photos of yours before you come to the casting

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• Submit the form above before the deadline
• We are NOT casting male models or child models at this time.
• If you do not meet the requirements, please do not submit an application.
• Please do not submit multiple applications.
• The winning Best Model at the event will receive Best Model Award 2023 from CFW NY, and she will also be chosen and given the opportunity to participate in any upcoming Couture Fashion Week Fashion Show in New York or Cannes, France. (Flight ticket and accommodation not included).
• There is no cash payment. But as mentioned above models will receive a certificate of participation from CFW NY. And the winner of Best Model will receive award and given opportunity to represent Malaysia at any upcoming CFW event in New York or Cannes  France.
• We do not cover travel or accommodations to castings or to the event.
• We do not offer training or modelling classes
• Must follow the rules and policies set by the organizing team (this is for security and smooth process and successful show)
• Fresh Models are encouraged to apply and join
• Over 40 models will be selected from the casting. We do not guarantee all selected models at the casting will walk in the show, determination is made by the designers.
